Office hours and contact information

The main administration office for Tully State High School is located in H block.

If you wish to speak with a teacher or visit your child at any time after 8:30 am or before 3:15 pm, you must report to the office and sign in as a visitor. The office staff will arrange for the meeting to occur. Please do not go directly to classrooms.

Text message system for student absences

To make things quicker and easier for parents, Tully State High School has implemented a new SMS messaging system for notifying the school about student absences. Parents can continue to phone or email the office but if they would prefer they can text message the school instead. Text messages can be sent to 0429 043 650 and need to be written as follows:

  • The first name and surname of the student
  • Year level
  • Date of absence
  • Reason for absence, e.g. sick, holiday, work
  • Name of person sending the text message and their relationship to student, e.g. Mum, dad, guardian, aunt, grandparent, etc.
